Would you eat lab grown meat?

The flu shot is created in labs by culturing the viruses, right? So we've already been getting vaccinations, injecting ourselves, with lab grown ... garbage.

I would eat it. Heck, why not? It's essentially the same thing right? Same cells, just made differently.
Look at what we eat and ingest now. Some pretty gross stuff! Why not just use science and technology to make everything more streamlined and efficient? I've always wondered why we don't have tree farms with trees that are genetically designed to grow straight and large. Large algae boxes with genetically enhanced algae to speed up the transfer of greenhouse gases into safer substances. Technology is too great not to use it, but it has to be within reason. I think this is.

lol. Well, there is no substitute for quality, that's for sure. I guess if they could make it taste the same then I would have no problem with it. Why not save some chickens in the process? Chickendips would be thankful.

If somebody took away all of your resources and you had nothing, no food. Under those circumstances i bet all of you would eat it. It would be that or starve. I would probably eat it anyway just like alpha, it's just meat. You eat meat everyday and never once question were it has come from, why should you now just because it was made in a lab or whatever.

Last I recall, Starfleet used 'replicated' food including synthesized protein via transporter technology, just using stored patterns like a restaurant menu. Yep... a Trekker. Couldn't resist.
